Medicine
Hat Public Schools' Education Foundation donated 16 digital video projectors
to students of Medicine Hat School District No 76. This project, valued in
excess of $50,000, was made possible by the generosity of the Education
Foundation and the Smarter Kids Foundation.
The use of a digital projector in public schools will enhance the quality of
instruction and learning for students. A large screen projection of an image
allows all students to view the same screen simultaneously in the classroom,
and closely follow the teacher's instructions by moving step by step through
new learning experiences.
As technology continues to become more prominent in our society, this method
of instruction will become more common. Students need to be prepared to use
this type of technology as they leave our school system.
The students of Medicine Hat
School District No. 76 wish to thank the Public Schools' Education Foundation
and all participants of the Foundation events.
Remember...
Every
Gift Makes a Difference
Donations to support projects, programs or the general
Foundation Fund are greatly appreciated. Any contribution qualifies you
to be a member of the Foundation.
